maybe terrain would help my 101st more than i realize, played a game today with just a few shrubs and fields and they seemed unkillable in them.
The Stars Await, Let us now wander together.

Well then, this is rather entertaining

Terrain is much more important in FOW than 40k. Use it as much as possible, and smoke as cover as well.
Grim darkness of the 41st Millennium? Good thing I brought a flashlight.

The more terrain you use the better it the game is. The tournaments that I go to there is about 50% of the table covered with terrain. When I game at my house we use about a 1/3 or more. The intent it to make it where you do not have long and large fire lanes.

This game is all about manoeuvrability and tactic, not shooting at each other across a golf course (I use this anology a lot). Tournaments I go to, there is about 6-70% Terrain. There is more then enough room to move because the models are small, and puts a whole new dynamic to minature gaming. It's a lot of fun.
Warhammer 40K - 41,000 points
Warhammer Fantasy - 27000 wounds (I'm guessing)
Flames of War - 6000 points
Warmachine Cryx - 100 points
Hordes Circle - 240 points

Yeah I'm thinking of starting FOW as well. I'm thinking of using an American 101st Airbourne/British Welsh Guards army from Hell's Highway. Why not a Normandy 101st Airbourne force? Hell's Highway is cheaper than Turning Tide, I prefer Market Garden to Overlord and to make the most of the British Shermans in the Achtung! starter set
