how do i start flames of war

Post by GLUG5 » Mon Jul 27, 2015 3:58 am

ive been playing miniature wargames for a little while now and ive liked tanks and wwii stuff for a while now so I searched for a wwii miniature wargame and I found flames of war sooo... I have 3 questions
1 is it fun
2 is it easy to play
3 how do I start playing

oh and If I do play I want to play German forces
Blood angels (first army) 22ish points 0% painted
Chaos Space Marines(second army) 1000ish points 60% painted
Orks (third army) 1000ish points 100% painted
Dark Eldar (fourth army) 700 points 85% painted

I paint slowly but when I do.......

it sucks

I've played FoW a bit, and it's actually a great system. I advise you to check out their YouTube videos on getting started https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-wLcnGm ... K&index=13

I'd find a friend and get the Open Fire box set.

Bolt Action also has a really easy to learn rule set and looks fun. I have no practical gameplay experience, but the models are affordable and are in a bigger scale.
PAINT FOR THE PAINT GODS, SPRUES FOR THE SPRUE THRONE!!!
