Where to start after Open Fire! ?

Post by WIld Zontar » Sat Dec 29, 2012 2:24 am

Hello FoW players, after having bought Open Fire! for my friend and I, I decided it was about time to expand my small U.S army that came supplied from the box. I plan on focusing more infantry based with paratroopers/glider rifleplatoons with the tanks as support. This being said, would buying any American paratrooper box work? Or are there specific ones I should be looking for?

Any US para set should be ok but you may run into trouble working those British Shermans into your list if you aren't doing Market Garden paras.
Battlefront is re-releasing the Market Garden books early next year as a compilation so it would be perfect for you.
I'd head over to EasyArmy or FoWlists and look at the Current Market Garden lists like Hell's Highway since unit choice will most likely stay the same when the compilation comes out.
