Remember A Luna, the limit of characters in a single post caps at around 60,000!!
It's good that you have the post right beneath the first one, haha!

I made that (double) post because I saw it coming that I'd be getting short on characters. Wouldn't have mattered, I would have stolen the second post made by a person in that case then

I don't know if anyone has asked this before, but what is shading? In GW's how to paint the Island of blood article, on the highelves, it says wash the metal with asurmen blue, shade with badab black, what does it mean?
Thanks in advance!

It's basically the same. A wash is just a layer of thin paint you throw on the miniature to get a slight change in color and to make it darker in the deeper parts of the model that catch less 'sunlight'. A shade is actually the same thing, but 'shading' is is painting the shadows on the parts instead of building them up from the basecoat (darkest) to highlight (lightest).

Read the whole thing and I'm soaking up new information like a sponge! This has really helped me improve a lot, and I'd like to thank you for even putting up this much. I'm really excited to see it finished if the author still has the time / will to do so.
Also, that harlequin model is amazing!! I'm painting tyranids right now but I'm seeing more and more amazing Eldar models; it's very hard to not go blow a bunch of money and switch armies right now! xD

Trying my best, sorry, but i'm not much in the mood of writing tutorials Working on other stuff which needs my focus so I can't really make a tutorial of it. I might take some WIP shots to get some decent looking freehand on a Forgeworld battlesuit. The NMM and SENMM must have to wait a long long time, still can't do that and I can't be bothered to try:P
Will try to work on it if I remember, I keep on forgetting to get it done.

Thanks Squeeme! The necron metallic was done something along the lines of this: basecoat black basecoat boltgun metal highlight chainmail highlight mithril silver wash: ogryn flesh/thraka green/assurmen blue/badab black. When washing, use a light wash, not a thick one of all kinds once. Then highlight once more with Chainmail.

Think you could write a small guide on how you did the Sanguinor?
