Hello, i got a big mek that needs stripping, But I don't know how to do it...

So does anyone knows how to do it without hurting the finecast?

Simple Green or Brake Fluid are safe on resin miniatures.

After soaking I would say be INSANELY careful on the mini when using ur toothbrush or whatever.

Yeah I used dettol but found the sword on captain fail (crowe) became very flimsy Donno If I left it in too long so just be careful.

However we don't have simple green or dettol here in Sweden so instead i'm going to try stripping it with some brake fluid. For how long should i soak my mek in it?

Dettol is an antiseptic liquid so you should have different brands I am in the process of stripping metal with a different brand just seems to take a bit longer. May not be as strong or the paint is thicker not sure on break fluid.

Try using nail polish remover for metal minis buddy. Remember to do it outside and use gloves. Always works a treat for my commission pieces buddy
