Well I have finaly inished a unit. In an early new years resolution I will try to finish all of my models I have started before starting any more(this will be tough).
Well this is the first one past the post!
I have the rest of the BFSP minis plus a bolt thrower, organ gun and a unit of Quarrellers started. I got 2 units of warriors and a longbeards and whatever my wife and kids give me for x-mas(I have a feeling that its a grudge thrower ) tempting me

Wow! 'eavy metal quality! I don't really like the new cannon, its too stubby. I much prefer the old one. Almost makes me want to consider thinking about painting them again.
Thanks for the comments. as far as setteling on a technique I havent yet. i used GW black wash for the crew and watered down dollar store black for the cannon. the flesh beards and clothing is FW acrilic ink, all the browns a dollar store as is the gold and the silver is dry brushed boltgun metal. The finish coat is Dollar store satin varnish then coated with Testors Dull Coat. The other minis that I have started I have tried difrent things with. Oh and i prime machinery in black and characters in white
Thanks again for the coments, there great motivation!
For the beards I just watered down the Citadel black wash 3:1, appied, let dry and applied again until I liked the look. I think that the satin varnish and then the Dull Coat is what really gives the depth. I still would like to dull the gloss down a bit yet, the picture dosent show the gloss that much but they look a bit to wet to me, except the cannon I like.
Well I just finished another unit, all beit 1 mini. I am nearly finshed a group of thunderers and a bot thrower, so i hope to have pix up in a few days

Well it has been a while since I have managed to compleate some units (reality takes to much time some times) but here are a few pics of my newly compleated Thunderers and bolt thrower and crew

I have been swamped with work but i have some time now to finish the units i have started. i should have the BFSP miners done in a day or two and then the BFSP slayer and wariors.
