MY ORCS

Post by Beren the half-elf » Tue Mar 11, 2008 8:38 am

I was wondering if I should have all my orcs with bits of the same colour, making them look more organized(3rd age MORDOR orcs), or have them all different more like a horde or rabble!? :P

Hmm, well seeing I haven't actually seen any lotr orcs I'm not too sure if you can do this, but if they have like a shoulder pad then you should paint that entire pad 1 colour for each model (just 1 pad) it actually looks pretty good if you use a good colour.

But I am not too sure if they even have any bits of armer like that, so sorry I wont be that much help  lol

beren, your another hardcore LotR fan. You tell me what you saw at Minis Tirith. were they all uniofied in uniform like our good Gondorian Defenders or where they using whatever they found as armour?

i say you make them look like a hoarde of rabble since they are. Use the easterlings for uniform. but if you wantto show yoyur orcs are from the same army throw in 2-3 bannerbearers and paint some of those skulls that look like the Mandalorian insignia.

(really big skull thingy)
