Black or blue primer

Post by SyntheticDuckie » Sat Dec 08, 2012 3:25 am

Hey guys,

Should I use black or blue primer first on the ultramarines?

Or does it even matter?

Thanks!

The fact you've asked this says use black to me.

Basing blue could actually cause issues mid way through.

I only asked because I watched a video of Kris and his space marines and he mentioned he used a blue primer, but others have mentioned to use black.

Sorry just wanted clarification :(

Unless you want a brighter blue, then use a white.

Even a grey primer might be good if you don't want the blue to be dulled down.

Id second grey primer. Best of both worlds.

Or black primer then a VERY light white coat from directly above.
