Posting an Army List? Read First!

Post by Epic Duck Mike » Tue Jun 23, 2009 10:37 am

Please Read the following before posting any army lists in this sub forum.

First posting the individual points costs of units or upgrades is a violation of Games Workshop copyright and will not be tolerated on MWG. Threads that do so will be promptly edited my a Moderator to remove the point costs or rules in question. However posting the final, overall cost of a unit is allowed.

When posting an army list there are also a few other things you should keep in mind. If you are looking for advise on how to improve the list or for what changes other members might make then you should include as much information as possible. Posting your list has 10 Tactical Marines will get you far fewer helpful replies than listing you have 10 Tactical Marines with a Power Fist, Flamer and Missile Launcher. It's always a good idea to list the total cost of the unit, how many models the unit comprises of, what options they have taken and if they have a dedicated transport indicating what that is and what upgrades it may have. Finally it is always helpful for other members reading your post if you leave clear breaks between units and not have the entire army run on as one unbroken list. In such a case it is hard to single out units and see where they end and the next begins causing confusion.
