Hydraulic Razorbeam

Ok, one more for today: What about some sort of weapon that uses an extremely pressurized jet of water to attack?

well...
if it's extremely pressurized ...
then...
very piercing.
But i doubt it's very energy effective (requires too much of energy)

Isn't the game based on some super energy source that is magic and stuff and junk, though?

railguns, ordinary guns... it works pretty much okey under water too :)
plus... genedes are much more devastating in water due to pressure shockwave which spreads and is much more devastating in water.
(peoples organs tend to blow and crack from such shocks )

and... sea people... do you mean like new specie? or people who live on coast/seaside or water platforms, submarines etc. ??

it would require sever genetical mutations which are all good and help you to adapt (which is unlikely).

Evolution in such small time is imposible.

Yeah, people at sea is a good idea :)
Not necessarily pirats, but people who saved themself on sea, now living on floating platforms, huge ships (ex- tourist cruisers, tankers, huge fishing boats, submarines etc. )

I'm not too sure but someone wanted a sea faction
I think this rifle would work well with them

It wouldn't.
You need too much energy in compare to ordinary gun, to compress water to do the same damage as ordinary gun would.
It's innefective in long range too cause water is fluid, it has no permanent shape and hardness like solids (gun rounds for instance). It would reshape and lose it's kinetical energy due to that, very fast, or on hitting solid objects it wouldn't be as effective on range as guns.
(short range is usualy avoided in warfare or weapon conflicts)

Plus... too much energy needed for such compression.

haha :D the faction about people who saved themselves on the sea was my idea actually, and I kind of like this idea. Remember what GW has said, dont be limited by today's technology, imagine the technology of the future, no matter how weird it may seem to you now.

Still, the properties of water (fluids) are against this weapon :S
