Molotov's are much more badass then your prissy thermite grenades

I no they are a way outdated anti armor grenade, but they would be much more cheap than other grenades and would still be good as anti personnel

I recomended thermite to destroy tanks and covers.

As for molotov's coctails, i agree with you, they are cheap and efficient and with some chemicals you can boost them to create bigger temperature, toxic gasses etc.

The effects are lingering. Like my eyes are on fire because of the mustard gas.

Lasts multiple turns instead of only one.

? I'm not sure what you meant.

Gases like carbon dioxide, not fuel like petroleum. Tear gas, Nerve gas... They don't run out of fuel.

Do you know how little of chlorine you need to disable you vision and ability to continue to work??

You don't have to see it in the bottle and it can already give you terrible feeling of burning inside mouth eyes lungs stomach (i speak from my own experience, i had accident in laboratory on my university)

But chlorine is not nearly as bad as some other gases.
Some are potent enough that even in small quantities can kill several human beings or cause terible damage to them (lungs, eyes etc.)

You can think of some gas names that are terrible and can be used to charge "gas" grenedes

Your breath.

Anyhow I think a molotov cocktail with something like roman fire inside would be neat (I know I got that name wrong, but it's the long lasting liquid fire stuff)

Sulphur dioxide is not that dangerous, although it is lethal :)

If you are going to choose a gas for "gas grenede" you should choose a gas which is needed in really small quanitites to kill or to maim the enemy units so you can shoot 'em down.

Asphyxiant/Blood:
Arsine: Causes intravascular hemolysis that may lead to renal failure.
Cyanogen chloride/hydrogen cyanide: Cyanide directly prevents cells from using oxygen. The cells then uses anaerobic respiration, creating excess lactic acid and metabolic acidosis.
Once the victim inhales them... they act immediately to cause issues.

Nerve:
Cyclosarin, Sarin, Soman, Tabun, some insecticides ,Novichok agents (various gasses ).
[effects:Miosis (pinpoint pupils),blurred/dim vision, headache, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, copious secretions/sweating, muscle twitching/fasciculations, dyspnea, seizures and of course loss of consciousness ]
Those nerve gasses need from immediate to few minutes to start acting.
But since it's future... let's say they made some new gasses that all act immediately! :D

These are the relatively fast and efficient chemical warfare weapons you can get today (or create in laboratory by "relatively" simple experiments, Arsin for instance or Cyanide )
There are some gasses my friend was telling me about but i can't remember their name (they are even more potent but they have never been used because they were too potent to maim or kill xD )
