Descendants of a group of teens who formed their own government system after The Event and actually prospered as much as possible in a post-apocalyptic wasteland.They followed the teachings of their parents and grandparents and are extremely loyal to each other and never leave their isolated settlement to find supplies alone

i would imagine these as anarchists more than teens united. You could have them form as rebels that have trained in terrorist activities prior to the end of the world.
