Faction Name: Reapers
Faction Species:Humen inc.Droids and robots
Faction Pros:good weapons and armour, good at shooting.
Faction Cons:a little pricey, not much pro soldiers but more scientist and technican so more expirimental weapon like the reaper shredder
Faction Bio:reapers are a large group of engineer, techinicen and scientist who saw that the event was a sign of god anger with humanity technology and so decided to destroy it. now the reaper seeks out to improve and research to make deadly weapon and indestructible technology to reach the aim of eliminating all religion. the reapers military wings are like hamster used by the research wings to test their weapon and armour.

reaper soldier wear chest and shoulder plate, with many wacky equipment like night vision goggles and heat goggles. they are also arm with weapon like the reaper sniper rifle or the standerd reaper automatic.

reaper engineers are the people that issue out new weapon like the reaper shredder heavey automatic machingun. they are found wearing leather gloves, appron and face protecter.

reaper scientist are coat wearer that research biological weapon like gas. on the battle field they userly wear face mask and radioactive suit armed with weapon like the reaper choaker (gas template weapon).

Faction Name: The battle fish empire
Faction Species: an alien species known as the battle fish
Faction Pros: advanced weapons, code of honor, large empire which mean lots of slaves, auxiliary troops, and beasts of burden, excellent swimmers
Faction Cons:frail, many other wars currently, cant hear very well, cant smell very well,
Faction Bio: the higher rank royal born (blue scales 8' tall) rule this vast empire they are the high priests, the honor guard, the generals, and the emperor. the peasants ( green 5' tall) are the solders, the citizens , enforcers, engeners and the slavemasters. they may have caused this massive event to occur on earth.

Faction Name: The Refugees
Faction Species: Human (like there should be anything else)
Faction Pros: Have a bonus when fighting in a squad of several men. have a wide range of units that each have a strong niche in battle but still can all be used as basic rifle squads. strong rapid fire long range attacks. high speed units. CC bonus when squadmates die (battle rage type thing)
Faction Cons: low armor. poor leadership/moral. weak in CC. no real heavy armor in any form
Faction Bio: while the Event did kill off much of the civilian population some civilians did survive. they have banded together in large groups to try and survive in their destroyed world. they often have to scavvenge for supplies and weapons to arm their defenders. most of the refugees have lost most or all of their families so their moral is often low even when good luck comes their way.

the Refugees for the most part have no trained soldiers to speak of. there are some "elite" units but they are just police officers, hunters, and a few retired marines. even these elite soldiers have little in terms of tech or advanced weapons. but for the most part the refugee army is made up of regular joe's pressed into service with little training. the leadership is also lacking since few have the spirit to lead.

despite all of their short comings the refugees have formed a strong sence of brotherhood. they all know what it feels like to lose everything they once loved. but in the midst of the carnage caused after the Event they have found others who are trying to survive. so the squadmates will do anything to keep their new brothren alive. they utilize every skill they have to keep alive.

Faction Name: Order of Anarcy(Cupholder if I can't think of enything better)
Faction Species: Possesed Humans
Faction Pros: Great Movement and Shooting. Below Average Point Cost(Fast Passed, Ranged and Slighly Cheap)
Faction Cons: Desent Armor not really a Pro or Con but Terrible at Close Combat (Average Armored and Ranged)
Faction Bio: Humans convinced that the Event was a message from the "Anarcy God" as they call him, known as the Devil by most that there is no God, only death, hatred and to praise him. That there was no hope of men from the Stars that common folk spoke off, there was no gouvermental rescue, or survival. He was the true God. And folowed his every demand. By accepting Saitan, he formed them into igile killing machine with spear tongs that could reach a mile, and and venamous saliva that could burn through enemies like acid. Their one flaw however was in closecombat. Saitan had devoded his powers to ranged combat thinking that his minions could keep the enemy at bay with it, and forgot about their arms. They were left to fight with their fists and feet like the pathetic humans they dispised.

faction pros:balanced attack with the abilitie to repair fallen robots who die low cost
faction cons:riggers have low armor and if the rigger of a squad dies the robots must roll a control check one rigger per squad
faction bio: a group of robotic speacialists who watch movies and each has there own VI network for his robots each has made a pledge to the others to risk it all for the team they are never in a place for to long and keep a stock of machine parts

riggers sound alot like servitors and i think thed be more like mercenaries in WM a faction yes, but mainly taken as an additional unit to there army.

Faction Name:"The true survivors"
Faction Species:human
Faction Pros:good ranged combat,good infiltrating close combat specialists,very stealthy snipers
Faction Cons:can hit hard but can't take a hit

Faction Bio:"the survivors" is group living in northern russia,who after the event believed they are the only survivors left in the world and begin to make new beliefs and culture contrary to their old ways. On one faithful day "the survivors" as they had begun to call themselves,went on one of the usual hunts but this time something happened that would change them forever.
While on the hunt one day a party came across some bandits who ran to attack the hunters,the hunters who went into shock were quickly killed and looted.The two who escaped made there way back to the village and told everyone of their encounter.
The church that "the survivors" followed" quickly called the new inhabitats heretics and unclean. The church called for the village to begin making weapons and to start training an army to eliminate the new threat. After five years the army was completed and definate stratagies for warfare were made in the tribe,the doctrine by which the new army went by was to reamain stealthy and to strike fast and hit hard. The units mostly used by "the survivors" were snipers,hunters:close combat infiltrators, and ambushers(I'll hopfully get better names soon).
Once the army had left the village by 5 miles they had already encountered large numbers of bandits and soon ran into members of the shield.
As the army began to make contact with the shield they quickly made allies and began trade with them. Though the alliance with the shield lasted monthes, rumours and lies spread by both sides separated the nations and made them bitter rivals.
The church who had spread the lies declared all other races and humans "unclean" and "mutants" unless they submited to the ways of the church and their gods and so declared themselves "the true surviviors".
"The true survivors" are now on an everlasting crusade to make the world safe for humankind or atleast their impression of what humankind is...

Faction Name: The Ancients
Faction Species: Giant Robotic Machines
Faction Pros: Hit hard, big guns, high armor, very efficient killing machines, anti tank, anti horde, anti elite, good melee fighters because of high strength values, great BS(5)
Faction Cons: low numbers, easily swamped, can break down(on a role of one breaks down for a turn [after all they are ancient])
Faction Bio: Before the necrons sold there souls to the C'tan and hunted the universe there were the ancients... giant machines harvesting materials to build bigger and more powerful armies then after an ice age hit there main planet they were choked out and were in tombed in ice ... forever, few remained roaming the galaxy for life when they found it the were harvest for parts and weaponry by the early necrons giving them there power. Then they were found by the eldar and then found by the emporer. Suddenly after millenia the oil in there engines and the fuel in there tanks thawed... they have returned. Large packs of titan like machines cruise through the universe followed by smaller(dreadnaught size) troops, just waiting for the next unexpecting planet to be swallowed by these harvestors and left bare. Leaded by the largest machine, these hulks keep the other machines from fighting each other for control of the group, without them all is lost. These leaders armed to the teeth in weaponry and armor are the backbone of the army and if destroyed the army usually breaks down and crumbles

Unit description: Troop choices are basically dreadnaughts with more weaponry, elites are strong melee fighters with close range weaponry and giant claws and powerfist capable of crushing rock. Fast attack are flying machines with many missle based weapons and capable of jumping around anywhere on the map. Leaders are very large titan like machines armed to the teeth, usually carrying 5-6 heavy weapons and these units usually are marked by carrying a large sword the use to empower the army and keep it from fightening themselves. Heavy support, gun machines usually 1 gun strength 10 ap1 weapons stationary with 180inch range.

I dont really know what they should exactly look like but sorta like dreads... but not sure.

Faction Species:Humans and haussman robots
Faction Pros:A well rounded army; more numbered fast moving close combat troops, and elite long range troops, with very good morale.
Faction Cons: Without the pinch in the hourglass (the leaders) the army breaks apart and becomes hard to control
Faction Bio:An army of slave traders that capture, scavenge and reprogramme robots to use for fighting. Read more here

Faction Name: The Council
Faction Species: Humans
Faction Pros:Excellent weapons and armour for long rang combat. Different devices for crowd control. Sentry guns.
Faction Cons:Very few in numbers. Low morale and skills in close combat.
Faction Bio: The cloned population of humans that went underground shortly before the event. They have since become xenophobic, agoraphobic and homicidal. Read more here

Faction Name:The Vikings
Faction Species:Humans
Faction Pros:Very tough defenses and excellent in close combat, they are very loyal and have high morale.
Faction cons:Very little if any long range weaponry and they suffer if they try to leave a dying man behind.
Faction Bio: A group of well trained survivors living in the frozen north who have adopted the culture and fighting style of the ancient vikings. Read more here

Faction Name: The Children
Faction Species: mutants
Faction Pros: Strong, fast, fearless, and terrifying
Faction Cons: Prone to uncontrollable body spasms (random immobilization) and sudden mutations (roll a d12 and each have a different pro/con or humorous effects)
Faction Bio: The Children are a group of orphans who got caught in a very powerful Bio-storm. By some sick twist of fate, the children's lives were spared, but they were all changed in horrible ways. altered skin, grotesque growths, writhing appendages, and altered senses. Revering the Bio-storms as gods, the children see their divine purpose as driving all life into the glorious rains of change.
