The Assault

Hey guys, thought up a scenario today watching my friend play the new PS3 game InFamous.

The scenario:
The police (or in this case lets say The Shields) have taken another's leader (let's say the Marauders) and have him stashed at a large encampment.
The Marauders want him back.
The attacking faction would get a larger force but have to charge a large wall with perhaps heavy weapon emplacements such as turrets.
The attackers would have something like pack charges that could be placed once a model gets into base contact with the wall to blow it up the next turn (for simplicities sake w/ the new rules it would detonate at the end of the next turn and destroy the wall and anything with in 2 or 4 inches). Or perhaps they could get make shift rock lobbas to throw junk into the compound and hurt the soldiers inside.

It would make an interesting scenario as the attackers forced their way in and were slowly ambushed and destroyed (or not!) by the defenders.

I think that has been done in Necromunda

Point? A lot of this have been done but it's fun to reinvent them. *shrug*

GW's fortress wall from fantasy could work good for that idea.

Put weapon emplacements in the towers, and you get nice big stone walls that can be blown up.

Hmmm... my High Elven Wall blueprints might get the dust knocked off of them.
Sometimes I play all the Elves. Sometimes I play Eldar or IG. But between school and warhammer, how's a fella supposed to eat?
