That looks like the stuff. From the dimensions too I would think that it is. Usually the styrofoam is called polystyrene, I think.
Did you click on the individual links there? The picture for the first one looks like plasticard.

Have you tried emailing them at the website to be sure?

According to owens-corning the foam boards are still available in CA. I don't know why there wouldn't be a supply in any retail store anywhere though.

Usually home supply stores have it in stock. Over hear in the states it's places like Home Depot/Lowes/Hardware stores. It does seem it is difficult to acquire in certain parts of the world for various reasons. I don't know what kind of home supply stores you have over there but I did find this for you.

Does any of that look familiar or make sense?

ancient thread is ancient
I fall into a dark hole
And I can't come out
Do you know if Merlin did exist
Or Frodo wore the ring
Did Corum kill the gods
Or where's the wonderland
Which young Alice had seen
Or was it just a dream
I knew the answers
Now they're lost for me

Two months is far from ancient. But in the lines of this thread if you are ever looking for some good foam working tools I recommend http://www.hwff.com. I have their professional kit with 4 tools and love it.

I'm pretty sure the online store of MWG has them, do they ship anywhere or just U.S and Canada?
Stuff happens in places.

i would hope mwg sells polystyrene. like it's been said, this stuff is a must have for hobby builders. them stocking it would make things easier.
lucky for me, my home depot's and lowe's actually sell it in the summer and we live near a Hobby Games and Stuff and a Hobby USA so i can get whatever i want XD

"While this foam cuts better, it should never be burned or melted in any way, whether it be with a flame, a heated carving tool, glue's that eat it, or spray paints."

Yea, but it sure makes some cool textures if you do melt it with a heat gun. Just use common sense and only do it in a well ventilated area or with a mask just like when you spray paint.

I've not been to Australia myself, but I think Bunning's Warehouse is fairly similar to Home Depot here in North America. Certainly worth giving them a call.
