This looks awesome! How long did it take you to print this set and what kind of 3D-printer are you using?
Painted 2017 so far:
- 8 Skitarii Rangers
- 1 Skitarii Sydonian Dragoon
- 5 Space Wolf Terminators
- 1 Zombicide Survivor
- 1 Infinity Hexas Multi Sniper

about 10 hours a piece at 0.25mm layer height (which is low quality) and at high speed, 5% infill and 1.6mm wall thickness

Printed on a Prusa i3 clone.

as in the album it was then painted liberally with black exterior weathershield gloss to really fill in the cracks and then polyurethane varnished then painted then varnished again (not shown, still drying).

I've got a couple more chimneys drying out back and that finishes my six 'nid pieces .. just for the odd occasion that a friend brings some round.

My main terrain is all Industrial stuff so I wanted something different.

Very good looking! Did you make the models yourself?

Gosh no, these are from Thingiverse. I have zero creative talent when it comes to making stuff like this.

Talent you have lots, skill can be learnt. But 3D modeling is a skill that takes some time. These days there are so much resources online. Not like some 25 years ago when I started with 3D studio. :D

The paint job is very good. Have you thought about tinting some Vallejo water effects and add drops of it? It could perhaps increasy the slimy look. I think green translucent drops of "poison" on the teeth. Don't mind me, it is already very nice terrain.
