Paper Models For Play Testing of Jaman's rules

Some members of the MiniWarGaming Community wanted to develop their own game; this is the official place to do that! Keep in mind that this is not related to MiniWarGaming's own project, Primal Horizon.

Paper Models For Play Testing of Jaman's rules

Post by Marine » Sat Oct 23, 2010 4:56 pm

As I do not have the resources to hire a sculptor, I have created paper models for the factions in the game to be used for play testing. You print the models, cut them out, and fold them, their upside down counterpart, and their bases to create one model that stands on its own.

Fantastic work, I'll print these out soon, great to see you're this committed. Do you want me to write fluff for the different units?

That'd be cool, I'd just like to write the fluff for the Hunters. If you could think up ideas for the Ferals and Red Colony units, I'll make those.

Alrighty, I can't tonight and probably tomorrow as I have a ridiculous amount of work, but when I have time, I will definitely do that.

Go ahead, Jaman. What other vehicles should I create?

Looks great, I'mma print these out now! As for fluff, I'm going to flesh out the original background and maybe change a few details, factions will remain the same, but will also be fleshed out. I'll try and get on that tomorrow, as I still have a lot of work to do tonight.

Thanks,

-sagemonkey

I will use this post for large groups, e.g., the FPE Mechanized Platoon I just created:

This game is a game that we (the miniwargaming forum goers) are creating. If you want to know what we have so far, I'd look at my revamp thread, which has the factions, and also at the game concept thread, which, though it is very long, is where most of the stuff happened, and also explains a lot about the game.

Now for the first set I just need to make a less valuable HQ for Ferals, another type of Feral Troop, Hunters of all sorts, Red Colony high command, and some Red Colony Vehicles.
