Game Concept

Some members of the MiniWarGaming Community wanted to develop their own game; this is the official place to do that! Keep in mind that this is not related to MiniWarGaming's own project, Primal Horizon.

With my team I was thinkin sorta like stealthy guys that take out enemy leaders then have the berserkers to protect them in close combat, and riflemen for standard troops. They could have like a heavily armored bus or something and use it as a firing platform.

Both of your ideas are good but I don't think that the Australians would work as they are still part of the NAEU (now the FPE). I will begin writing some fluff for your Hunters Wolverines  .

Thanks,

Yeah it just doesn't work with the more developed fluff that I am currently writing (where Australia is actually a very major part of the FPE). We also have quite a few races already, and adding them both would make creating rules and fluff to much of a hassle. Your suggestion is appreciated though, and you can still help by giving ideas for the other races.

Thanks,

No I mean you can give ideas for the current races pertaining to rules, fluff, models to be used, and basically whatever else you can think of that would be useful for Jaman and myself.

Thanks,

1. FPE (Free Peoples of Earth):

Basically your all-arounders, kind of like Space Marines and Cygnar.

2. Red Colony (eastern europeans):

Decent shooting and CC, not as good as the FPE, but they are cheaper and have good morale and some advantageous special rules.

3. The Resistance (gangs of shattered earth):

Weaponry isn't as advanced as that of Red Colony or the FPE, but they make up for it with being adept at using stealth, and having the ability to set traps before the game starts. Guerrilla warfare.

4. Ferals (mutated humans that live underground):

Cheap as chips points wise, but the average trooper is pretty bad all around. They make up for this by having some advantageous special rules and by using horde tactics. Leaders can boost the troopers' statline in a few fields to make them better. Unlike the other races, they don't use Mechs very often. Instead they use giant mutant beasts as cavalry and assault troops.

5. Hunters (people of the forests)

Stealthy and very good marksmen, but few in number. They are very good at climbing buildings and getting into sniping positions very quickly. Not many CC specialized units. Much like the Tau and wood elves.

Feel free to help develop these factions story and rules wise.

Thanks,

-sagemonkey

Hunter Names:

The names always have something to do with the environment. Initiates have single objects for names (tree and hill, in the story). Rangers and Berserkers have a descriptive then an object (Green Hill, Tall Tree, Cold River). Lords have something annexed to the end (Stalker, Watcher, Hunter, Fighter, Warrior, etc.)
