Plastic Modles for the Galagido?

Post by Damn Lucky » Sun May 31, 2009 3:22 pm

Wargames Factory Sells a line of 28mm "Celtic War band" Miniatures for Histoircal Wargameing. (The Romen Gallic War.) These would be GREAT since they come with all the CC gear you would need, and would be easy to convert since there plastic.

I hope Miniwargameing thinks of stocking them, for there game.

Using some Las pistols from the IG/WH40k, I could see them working perfectly.

Well, I picture Galagido as loincloth-wearing hooligans wildly swinging spears and screaming out war chants while speeding towards the enemy through terrain with uncanny ease

This is going to be a whole new thing, not just a MWG for the club members thing.

AKA they'll have their own models (which will probebly be in pewter for the forseeable future me thinks) because they want to make a profit purely for themselves.

I might be dreaming, but I'm pretty sure that the Galagido are from the Galapagos Islands - not Celtic at all. And we will be making our own models.

I believe they want to publish an army creator, so you can make your own. But that is a long way off.

at the very least you can test with these. also it doesn't hurt to push some alternatives since their own minis would be quite a ways off...
