This might not be the right place to put this

Postby Armageddon » Mon Jul 06, 2009 2:09 pm

This might not be the right place to put this but oh well.

i was wondering if the shield would look like the sisters of battle or if they would look like the OLD mk1 terminators

for those of you who are too young to know what a mk1 terminator looks like or those unlike me that just look at the top layer of Warhammer 40k here are two pictures of one.

I imagine the shield not so much as power armor wearing hulks, but more like conventional soldiers. Maybe they'd look more like the Marines on Halo or something.

While we haven't developed the concept artwork for all the factions yet (or indeed, even developed all of the factions) the average Shield troop will look more like an Imperial Guard member than anything else in 40K, if you need to draw parallels. They're well-trained and well-armed, but not overly so.

In the end... Shield should look like Shield ;)
