That there is a movie that supports your idea and will give even more IDEAS.

this trailer is from the film, The Road.

Awesome! That does give some inspiration.

And yes, a cannibal faction would make sense...

Not purely cannibalistic... That would drain their manpower. Maybe like the punk rockers from Doomsday.

That could be a good faction.
Sometimes I play all the Elves. Sometimes I play Eldar or IG. But between school and warhammer, how's a fella supposed to eat?

Cannibals aren't necessarily mutants. Cannibals could just be people who are so low on resources, that they are forced to eat their brothers when they die. Mutants are...

well...

mutants.

They don't have to be low on resources... They could just be morally corrupt food critics. "The chef looks appetizing, I'll try him."

I bought the book and read it and didn't like it. This isn't anything like what Primal Horizon is going to be.

The only inspiration I got from it was the way the cannibals looked, but I didn't even really like that too much.

Book? there is a book?

I had no idea, i just really thought it matched Primal Horizon in the earlier time passage. so decided to post and see what makes of it.

dingpong just face the bitter truth like Luke... the only time you are going to see mutants is whenever you feel like it. You'll have to come up with your own rules and balance them accordingly... they just won't be from MWG

I don't recall any of the X-Men eating their dead companions. I must have missed the part where mutant = cannibal ;)

There was plenty of inspiration for terrain pieces in that clip. Like the rusty boats in the middle of the road, cars, all sorts of stuff like that.
