I know, 25 points really isn't a big game, but I am going against a new player and want to show him both games at once, so he chose to play Warmachine and I took my Legion army out of the shelves to be played with once again.

My list is as so:

Absylonia, Terror of Everblight
-3x Shredders
-Typhon
-Seraph

Spawning Vessel (5)
2x The Forsaken

The list IS a Tier list, but I feel that Absylonia's is a good tier list, so I thought i'd fill it to Tier 4, so my shredders get Advance Deployment and my two heavy beasts get Advance move. I think this will show the fury management rule well while still being a competitive game for him.

Are forsaken better than Shepherds?

shepherds can force a beast in its command and take fury off, forsaken take fury off and use that to do their own damaging spells/attacks. I'd say they are both equal, i am using them for fury management and the forsaken are there to act as unit killers.

Still dont have my faction book yet, so I m trying to get as much info until then. But I could see how the Forsaken could be better than Shepherds.

The faction book can be found online as a pdf, only book I know of that can.com and yes, the forsaken are definitely worth that extra 1 pt
