Khador, were to go next?

Postby Some1 » Wed Apr 25, 2012 6:08 pm

So I have the battle box then I got vlad and 10 iornfang pikemen... were should I go next? I was thinking about getting some winter guard with the officer and standard as well as some mechanics

what are some good all around units to have in smaller games?
I don't usually post often, but when I do. It's pretty fricken epic.

You could get some widowmakers. Nothing says "run" like a group of widowmakers tearing light warjacks apart.

I second widowmakers, they really are fantastic.

Great Bears are pretty super too.

if you want to go the ultimate cheese route for more competitive games you could take the winter guard with Kovnik Jozef Grigorovich its a sweet combo.

Winter guard with Kovnik Jozef Grigorovich and any caster that can give them Iron Flesh is pretty super. Widowmakers are great and the great bears I think are a fantastic unit. All those recommendations are great areas to look into. You could also check out some of Khadors other jacks as they have many awesome ones.

Big Investment: Max Unit of Winter Guard + UA + Max WA (Rocketeers) and Kovnik Joe

Smaller Investment: Windowmakers, Great Bears, Ironfang UA, or Wardog

I'd also recommend a Spriggan at some point, such a good jack.

It is, but a CENSORED to arm! Seriously, the first it was a mess (I'll be honest, it was my first metal warjack assembled), and recently I removed the paint to start over again and disarmed it, but I forgot that I used so much green stuff and super glue on it it was impossible it get rid of it. It's reassembled now in a more dynamic pose, but I fear that one day it'll come off. Might as well learn to magnetize or pin it.

Hell yeah, and I think I'll get the pinning kit tomorrow, due to 'recent events'...

Stay on Target! Thank god I didn't recommend the Behemoth.

Modelling troubles aside on the field the Spriggan is an excellent jack, and if you plan on being at all competitive, he easily fills a list after Behemoth and Beast 09 are taken.

Beast 09 and Behemoth are both amazing Jack's and in the long run should get them, but I find the Spriggan is a better all rounder.

behemoth is now like 80% resin, so troubles should now not be too many, and I agree with the spriggan being more all round

It is, really. Last game I fielded the spriggan, sorscha and widomakers, and while I was mowed down due to caster kill (Here's the culprit), the spriggan was able to make a mangler step back.

And in other news, I finished the Spriggan. I didn't pint it, but I made sure it would hold.

So I got my self a sprigan, put it together, no need for pinning at all. Pretty sweet model.
