hello there fellow forum readers,

i'm new to miniwargaming.com but i think that i know what miniwargame i want to play. i'm interested in Warhammer Fantasy, as i know a little of the customs of the races because i have the Xbox game, Warhammer Battle March. Now, the race i'm interested in are the dwarves, but i don't know how to get started with them. if there are any other wargamers who like or field the dwarves i would like some tips on how to get started. anything is welcome.

P.S. Please remember that i a starting from next to nothing with only a little knowledge of the rules and absolutely no battle experience or even models. but i have money and need tips on what is worth buying.

Welcome to the forums muzzle!

I'd like to give you advice on your Dwarfs (for some reason or another GW does not use the "ves" when pluralising "Dwarf", probably to differentiate the Fantasy world from the real), but I have extremely limited knowledge of them.

What I can tell you is that they have an older book, so in terms of choices you'll be a little limited compared to the newer ones, but they can definitely hold their own and can be quite powerful with the right builds and tactics.

I suggest you ask this in the Warhammer Fantasy section of the forum, as you probably won't get anymore answers in here.
