Here's a Cave troll that I painted awhile back. I'm pretty happy with it. For the record, best eyes I've ever done.

I really love the skin!

Although, from one angle the eyes look like the eyes of  + the mouth of :o

And from another, he looks like he's higher then an airplane

And from another they look really good

And from another he looks like he's always staring at you no matter which way you move your head

Now look what you did! :x You've made me want to buy one!
some points of critism though:
- the orange blood? Is that my screen or is it really orange? Its a nice extra touch though
- drybrushing everything and not even a picture of his back? For better results, try layering (and for skin like these dudes, a lot of layers).
- go use the washes some more (the 'yellow-ish' skin could use a wash of devlan mud)!

Thanks for the responses guys.

How I did the skin was pretty easy. Dark grey, Inked with black, drybrush light grey, then white. For the lighter underside I used a flesh tone which I mixed with white to get lighter shades which I then....you guessed it drybrushed the lighter tones on top.

To respond to alunas comments the blood is red, Blood Red in fact, Sorry about the back I forgot a pic of that. As I said I painted this awhile back, I've added a few tricks to my repetoire since. As far as the devlan mud wash I disagree with you on that one. I have been underwhelmed with the Devlan mud wash and haven't liked the effect any time I've used it. Thanks for the input!
