Skulltaker Herald of Khorne

WOW ! so Awesome now, tell me how you made the "old gold" of his armor please !!! :o it's so beautiful and realist =) And... eh I would like also know how you made the lava bubbles. Love it, good job and lol I like so much the reflects of the fire... I like everything on this model^^

how i made the lava bubbles is:

get a smallish blob of greenstuff roll it into a ball and let it cure ( ie harden). when its completly dry cut it in half then glue the halves to the base, get PVA glue and cover the base and the greenstuff really thickly and let it dry, it might need more than one coat of glue

then all you need to do is paint it like lava and there you go.

He looks awsome you should wash the skulls to give them an "old" feel =D

ive purposly left the skulls like that to give them a dry ancient polished look to symbolise the trophy look

Well that's an awsome mini, very nicely detailed. The skullcape is just fine as it is. Please bare to check out my lord of carnage in the fantasy singles miniature category.

well the base was an experiment in using light sources and the skull in flames in his hand
