Wow! Not only do I love the sculpt of the miniature but the paint job is tip-top too!
I love the sword on his back and his flaming hand the most. Great blends on those, really nice job.
My only point would be that his red mantle could be a little smoother and the belts are a little odd.. the belts on his trousers I mean. The blue armor has been done nicely on some places, especially the blue.
I find the NMM gold not very convincing yet. You should try to add more depth to it as the reflection of the sun hits 1 part of the model and doesn't shine inmediately at other parts next to it.
A real price winner IMO. Almost one of the best I have seen in the fantasy singles (I haven't saw all entries and this one stays in my memory).

I hope you can do something with my critism, I don't mean to offend you ;)

EDIT: The pictures are a little small too... maybe you can update them with bigger ones? like 800x600 pics

I get all the points you say, the cape on the bottom front was a little accident, it had chipped a little and I tried to cover it up. It went terribly wrong as you can see. I get the point about the gold as well, but ok it was my 2nd try on NMM ever, so there's still alot to learn.

I think I leave the pictures for what they are, because I had a lot of work getting the brightness and contrast right so that the picture looked as best as possible.

That's all I've got to say about it. But thanks for the building criticism, it always helps.

Beautifully done man! If only I can get my hands on some Confrontation Miniatures as alternative models...

I love the transition of the colours on the hand to the flames... Good job! :D

Read the post that explains how to post pictures. It's right beneath all the contest sections.

I just noticed his disturbingly pink nipples ;)

Love the model still. Possibly even more... would that be weird?

Ahhhh.. Don't spoil the moment all right Joe. I know he's got pink nipples, but so does everyone (we are living on earth still). Every model needs some kind of an Easter egg on it. So I gave him one. Funny you noticed though, not the first thing I'm looking for in a mini   .

So I'm assuming that these tutorils are worth it? What was in or what was flesh tutoril about/like?

@ Loota: The tutorials are totally worth the money, you pay $25 for 4 Instruction video's. The video about painting flesh is about a miniature confrontations dwarf, and he just shows you how to paint it. The techniques being thought are all about how to get it as flush as possible. But all about what the video's are about is on their site http://www.miniaturementor.com.
