i got the idea of the armor from looking at tropical frogs namly of the poison dart frogs.

i'm also planning to do a carnifex someday although this was a real pain to paint

Pretty nicely painted mini!

Although that massive rock might make it hard to get into base contact with!

I think this one is neatly painted, apart from the conversion, there is no huge wow-factor on this miniature.
I love the blue you did and the subtle pink, but the feet and claws look black, a little to subtally highlighted?

Also, the glossy look is what's bothering me together with the dark pictures. The base is a little dull. 1 huge rock, no vegetation or moss or what-so-ever. Also, I like the pattern on his back a very complicated and inspiring idea but (truly, no offense) I think you missed the extreme painting and freehand on that part.

Great model overal, truly a fantastic colour scheme. Sorry if I offended you with my critism but I see an awesome painter in you and I think you will need it to become better. Keep up the nice work mate.

i accept any critisism good or bad a luna

i wanted to do a ruined banner on the top of the rock but ive been unable to think of how to do it yet so i understand the something missing idea.

the glossy look is something ive been trying to experiment with, i was trying to convey that the skin is wet and a total contrast to how i paint armor on space marines and such.

and again the subtle highlighting is another experiment and not normally seen on tyranid models

im just glad ive met someone as honest as me at critsising i dont mind the people who say wow and brilliant but i like people best if they give good crit on the model if they are right about it and not just to put the model down..
