No picture editing allowed

Post by miniwargaming » Tue Mar 24, 2009 12:40 pm

A question we have received is whether the picture can be edited before being entered.

The answer is no.

However, if you are editing simply to remove other things other than the miniature, that is fine. There is just no editing of the actual miniature (or diorama) allowed.

Is it allowed to post updates? Such as basing or cleaning up of missed spots that you see in the picture?

You are talking about replacing the pic with one that you took of the same model. I believe Matt is talking about "doctoring" the pic itself to make the mini look better. I'm sure you can add update pics to your entry post no problem.

Ah good, that means I can update my figs with their nice new snowy bases. Thanks!

I can use the un-edited versions I took of my pictures but..

I edited the pictures to be a bit brighter, because most of them turned out dark, is that okay or still against the rules?
Why is it that whenever I'm having fun... It's wrong?

That's ok, as long as you don't edit how the miniature really looks in real life.
