My 10mm Sci Fi Project

Post by womble67 » Fri Apr 08, 2016 6:21 am

As a young lad I grew up watching all of the sci-fi Programs of the late 70s and 80s, There are a few which particularly stuck in my mind Aliens, Starship Troopers and of course War of the Worlds.

So I thought I would combine all of these interest into one sci-fi Project to simplify matters.

I have been asking for help from the pendraken forum for names for my warring factions, also some transport options for Pendragon SF15x Colonist in space suit and SF16x Colonist in space suits with heavy weapons. For aerial support I've decided to use Eagle from space 1999.

So any suggestions would be more than welcome.

You seem to have a great project running right now. It will be very interesting. And you're right, these were the soviet Kub with the fire control radar vehicle. They had quite a lot of success during the Yom Kippur War, beeing nicknamed the three fingers of death by israeli pilots, even if the Egyptians had only limited numbers of them (most of their SAMs were the older S-75 Dvina and the S-125 Neva). Had I seen this project earlier, I could have tell you. I have a lot of interest for the Cold War Soviet Army.
