I think you should work on the details a bit more, It looks like you used a base colour and then used a heavy wash and that's it.
My suggestion would be to thin down your paints a little bit (this includes your washes too, too much wash makes models look odd, remember washes help you to give depth, but I think you are using too much of it). The paint looks kind of thick on the models, I would try to apply at least one level of highlights to bring up the details.
You've done a lot so far mate, keep up the good work and let us know of any updates =)
you have any techniques for highlighting? because ive never really highlighted before so yeah...

Well there's different techniques... one of them is "Drybrushing", simple yet very effective, another one is "blending" (this one is a bit trickier and suited for more advanced painters).
You could also just try to paint all the armour edges with lighter tones, just the small details.. Here's a simple tutorial (although not very descriptive you could find it useful, just to get the general idea) http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/conte ... ue&start=2 You are probably between the 2nd and 3rd stage. Also, try searching on the internet for painting tutorials, it really helps. Hope this is of any help mate.
Tried highlighting, don't know if my camera caught the highlights... (its dark out)

Much better (though the pictures a too blury now, I can barely see details now) but progress is progress mate =), now try with a finer brush, like with a very very sharp one and you'll be good to go! =)

Please don't take offence here I'm being nitpicky lol some paints are blotchy and require two or three more layer You need to practice Highlights so they are thinner Practice your white sept lines (is that what they are called?) try using masking tape/post it notes for straighter lines. lens's look good, could be better but are still pretty awesome Nice basing So those are some good and bad points but overall pretty awesome. How long have you been painting? And like what pirexian said if you don't have a fine brush yet is would recommend getting one they help a lot

Yeah that's always a good idea. I've been in the hobby for a year and a half now and I have painted like 24 models XD so yeah keep practising can't wait to see more
