Chaos Daemons WIP (Updated 2/015/11 - Page 2)

Post by Zeruel13 » Tue Dec 07, 2010 3:49 pm

I purchased myself a Be'lakor model while out of town several months ago but since I really had no use for him aside from loving the model he's kind of just sat there while I painted more urgent models for the armies I actually use. Well I'm getting into working on my next Fantasy army which will be Daemons of Chaos and couldn't think of a better way to kick it off then painting a certain Dark Master. Here's how he's coming along so far. Also this thread will eventually turn into my Daemons WIP Log once I start picking up some models.

Look upon this hammer I hold before me, for it is far more than a weapon. It is a symbol of the Imperial justice that smites the diabolic enemies of the Imperium wherever they are found, just as I.

Here's a quick update before I call it a night. Did a lot of Christmas shopping today so didn't get as much time to paint as I would have liked but I'm still pretty pleased with the results so far.

Oh my goodness! That Be'lakor miniature looks amazing! The detailing on the eyes and the horns is truly superb and to be envied. I'm very much a beginner when it comes to miniature painting, so I'll certainly be following you rather closely. Creepy? Maybe a little. . . but your stuff is awesome. I'd love to learn a thing or two.

What paints do you use and which ones are best on plastic molds? Do you suggest a certain type?

Pretty new to Plastic Injection Molding, but I'll make some cool plastic miniatures soon enough! ;)

Okay so it's been a while since I posted something new here but I'm going to a team tournament next month and I'm bringing Daemons so I'm starting to crank out the painting to have them ready in time. Here's a few WIP shots

I'm currently working on the Command Groups for my Pink Horrors and Bloodletters. I should have both done today at some point later tonight and have final pics of each model.
