Location: somewere over the prysmatic refection of light in water percipitaition
so i was laying on a hammock, thinking about tyranids, and i got an idea-
what if we had a gun that shot rippers. wouldn't that be cool

have a small one on warriors that shoots one base. if it hits the enemy takes 3 str 3 hits as if they were hit by a ripper. then a base is placed, and it automaticly joins combat at the end your turn, after combats are resolved.

then a larger one that fires d3+1 shots that can be on big bugs

it would also be cool if fex's could take twin linked barbled straglers, and twin linked venom cannons.

This sounds awesome, I relish the thought of all the rage and butt-clenching Eldar and Tau would have at automatically being locked in combat because you got shot with the ripper gun.

Ok. Yeah...page 197. There it is:
"The Tyranid tervigon can fire termagants with the following profile:
S3 with an AP of 4. They have a range of 6+d6 inches and count as an assault 3d6 weapon. Any model killed by this attack is immediately replaced with a free termagant. You may fire this even if there is no target that can have a line of sight drawn to it. (In other words, you can shoot it at open ground!)

what the new codex needs is for synapse to act like a homing beacon, everything that arrives within 6" or 12" of synapse does not scatter! (and to make it broken gives cover saves or something, or allows it to charge as well.)

The idea behind this is that the synapse link allows big creature to pinpoint prey creatures so that the underground stuff knows exactly where to pop up and can charge without being disoriented from arrival.

it should be a phycic power or different mastery levels grant different synapse buffs.

in addition flesh hooks should deney over watch within 6 inches. isnt that genius
