I hope they release primarchs and their rules.
We all know stupid guys like Mehpiston and Draigo were in 5th ed, I can only imagine how broken someone who's supposed to be a demigod would be in 6th!
I doubt they'll ever have primarchs in the game, Imo they wouldv'e done it already if it was viable.

HQ Primarch - 350pts
Troops 2*5scouts 150
the ultimate tournament list
I seriously doubt Primarchs are going to be less than 400 if not 500 points each. If they are easily killed by anything besides another primarch or something on their level, I will be very disappointed. If they bring in Magnus I might actually kick my butt in gear to make the Thousand Sons army I'd always wanted to do.

I'll more than likely reject the stats anyway because their existence offends my sensibilities, but it could end up being a tiresome debate with players in the future. I prefer the Legionary founders to remain mysteries to an extent. Sure fluff em out through novels and short stories, but to translate Leman Russ' prowess in a unit writeup makes me mouth vomit. I don't want to truly know who would win in a fight between Corax and Ferrus Manus, let the fanboys speculate. Let the Emperor's greatest creations be beyond mortal measurements. Maintain their status as mythical warriors, take the myth away and its not as romantic.
But hey, that's just me, I like the story of 40k & 30k more than the game itself. And I like the game.

I know, but for the sake of the joke it had to be 350 to fit into a legal 500pts list
I'm actually not too thrilled about the idea of giving legendary persons/creatures stats, especially in a dice based game. The mightiest, most powerfull of them all... falling over his own feet, killing himself with his own gun because the dice rolls were awfull

Thus the hilarity Havn't you ever wanted to see Sanguinius trip on his wings? Or Corax land face first whilst deep striking? Or even the mighty Magnus the Red get Perils of the Warp?
Perhaps I just like to see successful people (read: supersoldiers) screw up...

We can't have any funny business in wh40k. None of this silly screw ups nonsense. This is a wargame, not some childrens game with little army men. Its serious business! /sarcasm.
Really though, Primarchs did fail, they weren't perfect, there is always room for error. Look at Horus, what could be compared to a demon prince of nurgle got a lucky shot on him. Who's to say that just because you're superhuman means you can't make mistakes? Should they be harder to kill? yeah, probably all of them will have armor save 2+ invlun 3+. They'll probably all have 5 or more wounds, and high strength and toughness. I doubt we'll see a WS/BS under 6 too. But in the long run, its a dice game, , which reflects reality in some ways, everything is random, and no matter how amazing you are, there is always room for failure.
As a player, I'm looking forward to fielding a Primarch, and then rofl-coptering when he dies from gets hot or perils.

Different strokes for different folks. For me, just because a being is capable of failing doesn’t mean I want him statted out in my 40k games. The Emperor made mistakes during the Heresy, and he fell to Horus (who was also imperfect) at the final showdown, but that in no way makes me want the Emperor as a special character. Sure there’s room for failure, but I prefer to leave room for mystery and mythos.
Some of the Black Library authors describe it best when they talk about how writing too much dialogue & details for the Emperor takes something away from him. There’s certain unanswerable questions that I appreciate & that in my opinion they‘re in place for the betterment of the lore. One being the game doesn’t move into the future because the universes’ concept is being one minute to midnight; another being the two mystery Legions will never be revealed or solved; and yet another being the power levels of the Emperor and his Primarchs are a bit unknowable.
I don’t think of myself as anymore ‘serious’ than a fan of any fictional series. I read a lot, I enjoy most of what I read, and I have opinions on what makes 40k great. But they're just opinions.
