serious dilemma

Postby Trogit » Mon Jul 09, 2012 9:11 am

I have a bit of a problem. My flgs has 2 25 anniversary models and I reserved one. On the same day me and my friend decided to start new armies, I chose DE. After spending time on their forum I have fallen in LOVE with the army. Now, I am going to my flgs today with $40 and I want to get some DE stuff. My question is, since there are only so many 25 anniversary models, should I stick with the plan and get that, or is it not that great of a model and I can get the DE stuff. Your help is very much appreciated, as long as you don't say "It is up to you" I came here for your thoguhts. :D

you could always buy it, then sell it on ebay, theres a good chance you would get your money back and maybe even make a small profit, then you can go down to your store and buy even more stuff

Is the model anything special. or is it just another space marine?

oh, the models itself is nice, but its also finecast so it'll most likely have problems with it

^ You run this risk with any model, it's just that Finecast is still having the kinks worked out and it takes a couple runs of the moulding process to get all the bubbles and imperfections out.

I thought about grabbing one of those 25th Anniversary models, but I'm not too worried about it. You could take the guy and put him on a regular base, but his fist iconography limits your colouring choices a bit.

Frankly, I'd get more of the models I'm collecting at the time. I have dabbled in armies aside from my main choices, and each time I end up regretting the purchases and wish I had stuck with my main force.

Unless you really want that 25th Anniversary model, just stick with your Dark Eldar.
