As the title says, What do you think the first codex will be. Also, do you think it will benefit from being the first 6th and be OP?

I think it will be Chaos Marines or Dark Angels since they both need updates (I think)

My guess is seeing how tau aren't really influenced by the warp, that not being curropted they can jus use them as another tool for the greater good............that's all I can think of

My guess is that the first three codices will be (in my preferred order) Dark Angels, Chaos Marines, and Tau, followed by Daemons and Black Templars. Although I'd figure out a way to put Chaos into one book, since they both need an update and it fits the fluff.

Considering the rumors I saw for 40K regarding 6th ed. and what actually came out, I'm not going to believe anything from the rumor mill until the book is on the shelves.

It will most probably be Chaos, either this month or next. Then if the rumours are true, when the White Dwarf spine picture is finished, Dark Angels.

Actually... the spine is the exact image of core rulebook page 1. The dude with Rule written under him.
I got collector's eddition but I'd think except the size/weight/casing... nothing is different inside.
and is one of the four marines on my collector's cover.

Tau have a great codex, and it became even better with 6th edition.

Chaos is next, then dark angels. Then the starter set will come out.
