I'm curious on what are considered the most expensive units. By expensive i mean in terms of real world money not point cost. Also i don't mean porpotionally for the amount you get in the kit.

Primarchs, newer Greater Daemons, super-heavy Imperial tanks and Titans if we count Forge World.

The cost of Forge World models will always exceed that of GW. If you are attempting to refer to the physical volume of product received, it will be difficult to tell you, as few, if any, measure based on that metric. I mean, I can tell you models that might be a large amount of resin (ie: Forge World's Fellblade), but I couldn't compare for you volume of plastic/resin per dollar spent.

Can you be more specific?

Titans. Hands down. The Reaver (?Warhound? Whatever is the 2nd tier titan before Imperitor) titan LEFT ARM is over 200 USD. All told to build the full thing is over 2k USD if you want the full armament, and it's too big to fit on most tables. It also costs over 10k points.

If you are talking about brick and mortar buyable models, that don't require a special purchase, I would likely point towards Sisters. The sisters battle squad is over 500 USD and it's 11 models.

Not as much as you'd think. Reaver titans are four thousand points, and kitted out with a couple extra weapons is about $1,300USD. But if you know the weapons, it's about a grand. Considering that it's four thousand points, you get about 4 points per U.S. dollar. Compare this to Chaos Spawn, who are $42 for two, and they're 33 points per model. With them, you only get 1.6 points per U.S. dollar.

Reaver weapons aren't $200 each either. They're about $100.

If you expand it into the Warlord with a couple extra weapons, it's worth about $2,000USD, and comes in at a hefty six thousand points. Even here though, you're getting 3 points per U.S. dollar compared to the Spawn's 1.6.

Sisters of Battle are $80USD on GW's website. What are you smoking? I want some.

They must have dropped the prices since the release info. The battle sister squad used to cost more than the baneblade, due to metal models. Since they are no longer making them, I guess they dropped the price.

If you want Kasrkin now you gotta pay like £20 for a plasmagun model on e-bay. Dirty scalpers.
