Nightmare Legions

-Unofficial 40k Pony Army-

Legion makeup:

150,000 legionnaires in the Legion. Divided into Battalions.
1,500 Legionnaires in a Battalion. Divided into Cohorts.
300 Legionnaires in a Cohort.

All Battalions: Enemy units do not receive the benefit to their savings throws for being in cover against attacks made by models with this tactic.

Battalions: If your army is Battle-Forged, all units in a Nightmare Legions Detachment gain a Battalion Trait. The Trait gained depends on the Battalion they are drawn from, as shown below.

Earth Battalion: Roll a dice each time an Earth Battalion Infantry model with this trait loses a Wound. On a 6, the damage is ignored and the model does not lose a wound.

Unicorn Battalion: Each time a Unicorn Battalion Model rolls a wound roll of 6+, the Armour Penetration of the attack is Increased by 1. (I.e. AP0 becomes AP-1, AP-1 becomes AP-2 Etc.)

Pegasus Battalion: Add an extra 2” to the movement of all Pegasus Battalion Infantry Models.

This model may attempt to manifest two psychic powers in each friendly psychic phase. It knows the Smite power and two psychic powers from the Storm discipline.

Floating Ship: This model does not suffer the penalty to hit rolls for moving and firing Heavy Weapons.

Intangible: A model with this rule has a 5+ Invulnerable save.

Legions Precision: You can re-roll hit rolls of 1 made for friendly <Battalion> units within 6” of this model.

Storm Shield: A model with this rule has a 4+ Invulnerable save.

-Ranged Weapons-

Heavy Lightning Rifle: Range: 18”, Type:Rapid Fire 2, Strength:5, AP:-1, Damage 1

Lightning Cannons: Range: 42”, Type:Heavy 3, Strength:7, AP:-2, Damage 3

Lightning Rifle: Range: 18”, Type:Rapid Fire 1, Strength:5, AP:0, Damage 1

Twin Lightning Cannons: Range: 42”, Type:Heavy 6, Strength:7, AP:-2, Damage 3

-Melee Weapons-

Spiked Hooves: Type:Melee, Range:Melee, Strength:User, AP:-1, Damage:1

-Storm Discipline-

1. Lightning Storm

Lightning storm has a casting value of 7. If manifested, the closest enemy unit within 18” of the psyker suffers D3 mortal wounds. If a model in the target unit is slain as a result of this, the target suffers an additional D3 mortal wounds.

2. Storms Blessing

Storms Blessing has a warp charge value of 5. If manifested, friendly Nightmare Legions units within 6” of the Psyker automatically pass mortals tests until your next psychic phase. In addition, the closest enemy unit within 12” of the Psyker suffers 2 mortal wounds.

3. Storms Chance

Storms Chance has a warp charge value of 7. If manifested, choose a friendly Nightmare Legions unit within 24” of the Psyker. You can refill failed hit rolls for that units ranged Weapons until your next psychic phase.
