Re: General-Kroll's Weekly Paint 2017 The Return!
Thanks

We definitely should get that meet up arranged. I was meant to be in charge of it a while back, but things were a bit too hectic for me, and it was a little difficult to pin everyone down on a date. Maybe we can try again soon.

Thanks, yeah, the lighting isn't great, but there is a slightly more yellow tint to the bone on this model than I have done on previous ones (no where near as much as the lighting is making it look though) I tried using a lighter brown for shading than previously as it gives a smoother transition. I think it looks a lot better so I will likely stick with it.Sir-back-up wrote: ↑Sat Sep 16, 2017 7:58 pmReally good job on the painting ! Looks awesome:p

Thanks Lord Mac
I've been working on a Wraithfighter this week. It's been an absolute joy. It's a wonderfully sculpted model.

That's amazing I really do like your knot work freehand it is so well done, the highlighting on the bone is great.

I got around to working on my Guardians today. Hoping to get these and some Artillery guns done by the weekend.

Guardians are all done now. I love these models so I wouldn’t be surprised to see more on my painting table soon, especially as it will make my ulthwe army really fluffy.

Did a little bit of work on my growing collection of Warlocks this evening.
I love these models, really looking forward to getting them done. I’m not sure with the current rules that I will ever field them all at once (there’s another two Warlocks I’ve not started yet, and one I’ve already painted) they are just too expensive for what they can do. They will all get their time in the sun at some point though, even if it’s one by one. I may even use them as a basis for armies on parade if I get them done in time, though there’s always next year.

I’m really pleased with the sword on this Warlock, I wanted hers to stand out from the blue ones I’ve done so far, I may try to do as many different colours as I can, but with so many Warlocks, I think I’m going to run out of viable colour pallettes.

Another Warlock finished. I’m quite pleased with her.
