The mini does really look disgusting and infected! Did you drybrush a lot or did you use glazes to create the nice transitions? I really like the orange pants!

Thank you.
No, actually I didn't drybrush it at all. I simply did what Duncan explained on Warhammer TV. I applied washes directly on the primer and I have to say that this is really a quick and easy way to achieve nice transitions. Sometimes some areas seem to come out a bit uneven (due to an uneven primer coverage or due to the structure of the primer), but for these guys this effect looks even better than a smooth surface, I think.

I have to agree with General-Kroll, they are looking great! Now you're really starting to hammer out these poxwalkers in no time! You finished 10 already, didn't you? :o

Thanks, you two.

Yesterday I finished four more models (it was one of the days my wife did not force me to go hiking 😉). So now it's 14 done and 6 more to go.

Correct!

And here are four more:

So there are only 2 left.
I have to say that painting these Poxwalkers is a lot of fun, but the maggots on the minis are really annoying. You always overlook a few of them and need to redo them later.

Being on holiday - away from my house and garden - means that I have plenty of time for my minis.

Here are the last two of the bunch:

And this is a picture of the whole happy family.

Next, I'll start painting a simple Plague Marine. I'm not sure about the colour scheme though. I guess I'll go with Duncan''s (Warhammer TV) approach again. On the other hand, I also like Sir-Back-Ups darker version a lot... Let's see how the colours look on the actual model in front of me.

I use the Death world forest base too same as sir-back-up. If you want to lighten it though I thin layer some ogryn camo over the top then highlight with nurgling green - just brings it up a notch

@ Dheiti: Thanks for the advice. However, as it turns out Death World Forest seems to be the only GW green that I don't own.

@ Sir-back-up: Thank you. :D

Since I couldn't find Death World Forest in my paint collection, I decided to try out the Warhammer TV version. I'm relatively pleased with how the mini came out so I guess I'll stick to it. Perhaps I'll try out a different shade for the green parts of the armour (i.e. Athonian Camoshade instead of Agrax Earthshade).
