Hey Matt!

Thanks for posting these vids. It's been very informative and goes a long way toward helping newbies (like me) skip ahead on the learning curve.

The main thing I wanted to ask you was what kind of camera(s) and equipment do y'all use to make the vids? By other equipment I mean things like tripods, lighting, etc.

Also, can you explain how the rendering process is done or is that a function of the editing software?

I will be posting a video soon on what equipment we use, but basically all we use is this camera:

I just realized you said "rendering" and not "editing."

Are you asking for what settings it should be? If so, then generally I render the video as a WMV with the following settings:

Audio: 192 Kpbs CBR (constant bit rate)
Video: 1280x720, Quality VBR (variable bit rate) set at 60%
