Age of Sigmar starter set?

Post by HCMistborn » Mon Aug 15, 2016 9:33 pm

Is the AoS starter set a good place to start? Or should I scale down to the Storm of Sigmar?

Well if you like the armies, go right ahead, its incredible in terms of value, and you get some dice and accessories, and all the rules are free anyway. Of course, if you don't like the armies, go for one of the Start Playing! sets.

Absolutely get a starter set. They are ridiculous value. Try convince a friend to get one too so you can have some small games. Which one were you thinking to go for?

I'm looking at the straight up starter set with Sigmar and Khorne, since I like Khorne and the S.O. likes Sigmar.

Both are great, and actually fit together well if you purchase both. That said, perhaps you want to start with the smaller one?
