Nice dynamic model...almost looks like a Stormcast. I assume it's Infinity?

You got it. I have been on a bit of an Infinity kick lately. I guess it is an attempt to palette cleanse from the Imperial Fist commission I just completed.

This guy is Ajax of the Aleph faction. An absolutely great model, but seems to never really perform on the table.

The Aleph minis do really look great, especially when as awesomely painted as you did. Once completed he'll surely perform better for you. ;)
Painted in 2018:
AdMech: 2 Vanguard
Marines: 1 Rhino, 6 Primaris Intercessor, 1 Captain in gravis armour, 1 Scribbus Wretch
Shadespire: 4 Sepulchral Guard

The dirty secret to the blending on this one is washes. Anything that is not white is essentially a glaze. I have been tinkering around with that style of late, and find that I am really enjoying it.

Anyway, this next model speaks for itself...

I wish I had been able to build and use this guy while I was still at MWG, but it is what it is. Either way, I am glad to have completed this project.

I wanted to bring Inquisitor Croyle to life (instead of using Solomon Lok). I feel this kitbash does a good job merging the trials he survived during the Utgard Infestation, and the willingness to make sacrifices to further his goals. Of course, it remains to be seen if he has truly gone radical, and if so, how deep has he gone?

I yet live!

Real life has definitely been keeping me busy, what with a new job and the like. I will gradually share what I have completed, but I am going to start with my work on the 30th Anniversary marine.

Even though I did not have a lot of time in the past month, that does not mean I got nothing done! Went on a bit of an Imperial Assault kick, trying to get as much of the core set painted up as possible. That way, I can move onto Bespin sooner.

Anyway, First up are the Trandoshans! I painted all four in the same scheme, so see one, see them all in essence.

And of course, there is always more at my Facebook page

I always like to see your finished Imperial Assault minis! The skin on the Trandoshans looks nice. Did you drybrush the brighter parts onto the skin?

Yeah, the final highlight of the skin is Etherium Blue. Nice and light. The scaly skin was perfect for that, though I had to be careful not to apply too much dry brush, as that would easily ruin the look.

When I get around Bossk (released with the Bespin Gambit), I may do a bit more detail work on him, but we will see.

Anyway, keeping with the Imperial Assault theme, another group of mini's I managed to paint up are the Imperial Officers!

Nothing too fancy on these fellows, but it does the trick and they pop nicely on the table.

What kind of wash are you using for those Imperial Officers?

I assume you mean for the tunics. A very thinned down Asurman Blue.
