Those look pretty awesome. Really glad 1k Sons fans are getting some cool models all around after all this time. Mind you at the same time kind of jealous for my own legions but hey, chance for some cool allies i guess ^^

Haha! Yeah because FW books are monsters of a book. It would boost my muscles if I carry it around, but that would be extremely impractical.

I suddenly feel my Alpha Legion is severely lacking in unique units. But then again AL dudes shouldn't really stick out so I guess that makes sense. It still doesn't help a rising feeling of envy of other legions.

Yeah I have the same thing. I selected Alpha Legion for my 30k army because they my 2nd favorite after the TS and because I'm not super attracted by the 30k TS colour scheme, but I'm starting to be wavering. I think I will end keeping with the Alpha Legion considering I already have quite a lot of shoulder pads and Armillus Dynat, but 30k TS are definitively growing on me.

However, since a few legions got a third special unit, it's not impossible that older legions get a third one too in the future. We will see.

AL will get another special unit. They should be in a book featuring White Scars since AL was tasked with kiting them away from Terra. On the bright side Coils of the Hydra will allow us to snag a single non-AL special unit and then give that unit infiltrate

Yep! In a certain way, the AL has the largest number of special units if you think about it...

They are pretty neat, but try using Mhara Gal in a ZM game against Thousand Sons

These are absolutely amazing for sure! BTW, the first thing I told to myself when I saw these guys with double Force Swirds was: "Chop! Chop!". They are probably the source of Sanakht's fighting style if you've read Ahriman: Sorcerer.

I literally can't wait. Thousand sons are my next 30k army in my goal to have a 3000 point army for each legion. I know I have a problem. Everything about the Thousands Sons screams unique and deadly. My whole goal of my thousands son army is a rag tag last stand within the great pyramid as the wolves close in around them. But the only thing I don't like is the white helmet. I will paint mine gold. Forgeworld is knocking it out of the park when it comes to new legions. I can't wait to see the wolf specific units like the wolfguard or the deathsworn. Exciting times!!!
