I suck at Highlights that or I don't have the paints to do Highlights.

Nice work, I can see you have done some highlights on the robe, but agree a little more is need to get it looking really sweet. You have white paint so just add a little to your existing colours, water it down and then you can test it and play with it.

Yeah I didn't do any highlights on the robes. That's the sun coming through the window making it shine because I put a Gloss coat on it.

highlights can be done with very light dry brush of white/bleached bone, works on any colour just has to be very very light

but other than that it is a frigin nice paint job, personaly dont like the colours (except the witchblade, thats awesome), but thats cos i dislike green :P (also why biel tan is my least fave craftworld 8) )

Have you heard of ‘The Army Painter’? It’s a system for creating shading that a friend of mine uses. He gets excellent results from it.

I’ve bought some for when I start painting my ancients army.
