2000 - Tyranids - Leviathan

If it ain't human, and it ain't from the warp, then it must be Xenos.

2000 - Tyranids - Leviathan

Post by Akaitsuki » Mon May 07, 2018 11:00 pm

Some background on me. I play (try to collect) all factions. Tyranids is my favorite (1st love) and personally like to believe it is the faction I'm most skilled at using. I won a very local tournament using them and I find that I can build solid Tyranid lists though I prefer building my lists to a theme in general not always aiming to be a tournament winner.

+++ 097 - Tyranids (Warhammer 40,000 8th Edition) +++

++ Battalion Detachment +5CP (Tyranids) ++

20x Termagant (Devourer)
10x Termagant (Fleshborer)

+ Heavy Support +
Mawloc
Mawloc

++ Total: [97 PL, 2000pts] ++

Stratagems:

Caustic Blood 1cp
Rapid Regeneration 2cp
Metabolic Overdrive 1cp
Single-Minded Annihilation 2cp
Digestive Denial 2cp
Implant Attack 1cp
Death Frenzy 2cp
Voracious Appetite 1cp
Adrenaline Surge 3cp

Game Plan: This army is geared towards having lots of shooting from the termagants and sneaking in a very mean old one eye into the enemy lines and mawlocs to distract. The Swarmlord is there to facilitate units getting in close with Hive Commander. It's a more balanced list compared to my pure shooty nids makes use of powerful fight phase stratagems aswell to deal lots of damage.
