Do the fire prism and wave serpent have the same chassis?

If it ain't human, and it ain't from the warp, then it must be Xenos.

Do the fire prism and wave serpent have the same chassis?

What I want to know is whether the fire prism that comes in the start collecting Eldar set can be used as a wave serpent by just changing the turret.
Drive me closer, I want to hit them with my sword.

Looking at the GW site, I'd say no, because there's hull extensions on the Wave Serpent that are not in the Fire Prism kit.
Crucifiers (SM codex) (11881/703 PL)
Orks (3745/255 PL)
Astra Militarum (####/378 PL)
Fallen Crucifiers (CSM codex) (####/351 PL)
Khornate Daemons (####/65 PL)
Death Guard (2387/128 PL)
Primaris Marines (1099/60 PL)

I'm comparing my two vehicles right now. Physically they have the same chassis piece in their model kits. The difference between the two is:
- The Wave Serpent has a "Cargo area" that extends out the rear
- The Fire Prism has a turret that overhangs on the rear.

In default turret position, they have the exact same overhead dimensions. From a side-view the wave serpent has a small amount more bulk in the rear.

For friendly games I'd say yes, they are absolutely interchangeable as the difference between the two would only very very rarely come into play. It won't affect measuring, but in a very rare circumstance it could affect line of sight or cover. For a tournament setting it's probably safer to use the standard serpent hull. I personally don't think you'd get called out on modeling for advantage, but it's completely up to the tournament organizer to decide.
