New to nids Asking for assembly assistance (for builds)

If it ain't human, and it ain't from the warp, then it must be Xenos.

New to nids Asking for assembly assistance (for builds)

Post by SobieFett » Sat Dec 14, 2013 11:22 am

So starting a nid army and I think I got a decent amount of guys to start a very small army. Here is what I have:

1 x hive tyrant
1 x tervigon/tyrannofex
28 x Termagants
16 x Hormagaunts
8 x Genestealers
4 x Ripper swarms
1 x Mawloc/Trygon
3 x Warriors

Being new to tyranids I don't know what to model them as. I was thinking:

1 x Winged Hive tyrant w/ tl devourers
1 x tervigon glands/sacks
28 x Termagants w/ fleshborers
16 x Hormagaunts
8 x Genestealers
4 x Rippers
1 x Trygon
3 x Warriors w/ devourers
1 x Trygon

Just looking for advice

MAGNETIZE ALL THE ARMS!

I agree however... The new nid codex drops soon. It'd best wait

Well yeah, Hormagauts you don't really have a choice so just paint them up for now.

But seriously, for your Hive Tyrant, Tervigon/Tyrannofex and Warriors magnetize them. Pretty much anything bigger than a gaunt is worth magnetizing because of how expensive the models are and how many options they have.

i would still wait. remember how everyone made their fexes into trygons. you might just want to convert one of those MCs when the codex comes
