Post by Loco9443 » Mon Mar 19, 2012 5:53 pm

Ok so I am starting a BT army and this is what I will be aim to get as an army.

HQ
Helbrecht
Emperor's Champion

Troops (Spilt into 4 squads)
20x Initiates
20x Neophyte

Elites (Spilt into 3 squads)
15x Terminators

Fast Attack
3x Land Speeder Typhoon's

Heavy Support
3x Land Raider Crusaders

Thoughts please... on what wargear to give them etc.

Grimaldus over Helbrecht. But generic HQ's can out-preform the named characters easily. And, for much less points.

Neophytes can be dropped. 10 points, but they don't benefit from Accept any Challenge. Oh, btw, in before you're told that Accept any Challenge sucks. Preferred Enemy for you're entire army, for only 50 points? Yes please.

Now, why no rhinos or razorbacks? They are pretty important in any Space Marine list.

My genral tactics where going to be have Helbrecht, Champion and 2 squads of CC Terminators in the LRC's go on a full out charge in. Then have a squad of shooty terminators and all the troops and Landspeeders get into any available cover and just mow the rest of there army down with gunfire.

Special Skills - Tank Hunters

2nd squad - 5 Terminators
Weapons - Lightening Claws, Crusader seals
Transport -Land Raider Crusader
Special Skills - Furious Charge

3rd squad - 5 Terminators
