Not sure where I'm going in addition to these. i do have some styrofoam Incould use for... Something.

I also have no material to use as a base for this. :/

That's a neat idea. Google image those things and there are some neat ones with steel reinforcement on top. I bet these turn out great.

Haven't used wood filler much, at least not for terrain that is, but I think the problem comes from the amount used - the outside is dry and the middle is still flexible right? Maybe it will get dry with time, but... if it takes too long it's not the best choice of material for terrain. Any kind of filler would be good to use with those ice cube trays and will dry much faster. As Xaz suggested - google or check on youtube for advice. I'd love to see some good tank traps!

Well the problem here right now is the top... inch or so is dry but when I try to pull one out it separates about halfway in where it's still not set.
Next time I might use some Drywall putty or plaster of Paris... but I'm worried those will be a little more fragile than I want at the end.
If this stuff had set around the edges I'd be good to go honestly. I've never worked with wood filler before either. I just remember reading an old tutorial on building Dragon's Teeth tank traps using this method. I still haven't come up with an idea for base material yet... but I might "borrow" a clip board from work and bust the clamp off. >.> Our local lumber shop has closed down so now I just have Home Hardware and this one's a little more emphasized on Home than it is on Hardware.

If I go with the clipboard back then I have a HUGE space to work with unless I cut it down and my options for that are small hacksaw or a jig... So I'm probably leaving it alone. ;p
